Local Dispensing Optician Pauline Townsend is celebrating 20 years as owner of The Redland Optician this March.  To mark the occasion, Pauline will be raising £2000 for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) here in Bristol.  Activities to raise the money will include an anniversary prize draw and in addition, one pound from every private eye examination will also be donated by the practice to the Institute.

The celebrations will officially begin at 2.30pm on Tuesday 12th March when patients and the community will be invited to attend an anniversary party at the Redland Road practice.  Guests will be able to purchase raffle tickets and take a look at some of the prizes on offer.  During the event, The Redland Optician will also launch its debut collection of Radley frames and showcase its latest line of designer sunglasses from Guess.

"As a local independent business, we are incredibly proud to still be going strong after 20 years," said Pauline Townsend from The Redland Optician.  "The anniversary raffle is our way of saying thank you to our wonderful patients who have shown us loyalty and support over the years.  We're also looking forward to raising some money for a fantastic cause at the same time."
