Police are continuing to appeal for the public's help to identify a man who was found dead in Bristol yesterday morning (February 20).

CCTV footage released: Police seek help to trace family of man found dead in Kingsdown, Bristol.
Officers have released CCTV footage of the man prior to his death in an attempt to find his family or friends.
The body was discovered in Thomas Street at around 8.15am yesterday. The clip shows him walking in the area around two hours previously.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
He was carrying a black rucksack. He is described as white, of average build and is thought to have been in his early 40's.
Detective Constable Alan Smith said: "This is a very sad incident. It appears this man may have fallen and suffered a head injury. I would appeal for anyone who thinks they know this man to get in touch with us. Have you noticed that your neighbour has not come home or are you worried about someone you have not heard from? Please get in touch with us by calling 101."

Update from police:
"The man found dead in Thomas Street has now been identified by his family.
"We would like to thank members of the public and the media who helped to spread our appeal yesterday.
"The man, aged in his late 50's is from the local area.
"The matter has been referred to the coroner."
