Bristol Zoo is offering a free park and ride service to its guests this coming Easter bank holiday weekend.

The service - by non-profit making transport operator Bristol Community Transport (BCT) - will run on 29 March, 31 March and 1 April from The Portway park and ride site in Shirehampton to Bristol Zoo Gardens. Buses will operate from 8.30am to 6pm. The service is a non-stop shuttle running every 30 minutes.

Bristol Zoo's Head of Guest Services, Chris Page, said: "We are pleased to be offering this service as it will provide 500 extra car parking spaces for our guests this Easter weekend. With both the parking and shuttle bus free of charge, the Park and Ride service will be of great advantage to the many people we're expecting to visit."
