Holver hits four as Lebeq win 12-goal thriller

DOMINIC Holver scored four times to help Lebeq Tavern make progress in the Sid Rummins Cup by edging out Cutters Friday 7-5.

Twaine Plummer, Ibrahima Sarr and an own goal took Lebeq's tally to seven, while Leon Britton (2), Ben Bament and Ian Power all scored for Cutters in game that was locked at 4-4 with 20 minutes to play.

The top two sides in the Premier Division, Beaufort and Avon Plate, went head-to-head and the game ended goalless.

Goals from James Cooke and Alejandro Orozco-Luquin helped UWE Dynamos to a 2-0 success over Forresters, while Louis Stephens (2), Adam Chester and Andy Strike were on target as SWYD United claimed their first three points of the season with a 4-3 victory over JMS Boys.

Lebeq Tavern Reserves recovered from having two men sent off to secure a 3-2 success over Brislington 1987 in Division One.

Jermaine Hughes and Josh Penfold put Lebeq in the driving seat. Kyle Porter and Levi Gingell levelled for Brislington, before Jordan Thawes curled in a 25-yard free-kick to secure victory.

Hope and Anchor continued their impressive form after goals from Ben Fry (3), Jason Lawrence (2), Rob Welshman, Alan Boulton and Kyle O'Donovan set up an 8-1 victory over struggling Warwick.

Nat Brain (2), Mike Greenhill and Craig Reid scored for Brislington Badgers in a 4-3 success over The George.

Lockstock United were 5-1 winners over Zimba following goals from Andy Masters (2), Scott Feltham (2) and Darren Chinnock. Dan Pyper and Azaz Haque were among the goals in Bristol 5 Seniors' 3-2 victory over The Railway.

Cameron Brown and Meliveo Williams were on target for Amana SYF as they maintained their unbeaten record in Division Two with a 2-0 win over Keynsham Park Rangers.

Second-placed Wizard Wanderers remain six points behind after goals from Dean Henderson (2), Rob Giles and ben Price secured a 4-2 success over Pied Horse.

A Rich Duffy hat-trick fired Littlesea to a 3-0 win against Quality Finish. Oliver Bendall scored four times for AFC Redland in a 5-2 win over Longreach Athletic.

Sean Davies, Nick Groves and Craig Sanders were all on target as West Country United had a 3-2 success over Smart Sports Coaching.

Dave McCann and Seb Pedraza scored hat-tricks in Signal Generals' 6-4 victory over Real St George.

Darren Horne, James O'Connell and Dave Nicholls scored for South Bristol Saints, but they still dropped their first points of the season in a 3-3 draw against AFC Brunel Reserves in Division Three. Chris Thomas (2) and John Williams scored for Avon Plate Reserves in a 5-3 defeat to City Dart Veterans.
