Raiders are too good for Icthus

REDLAND Raiders Under-14s emerged worthy winners after a tightly-contested B-Division tussle with Icthus.

After an even first half, Raiders took the lead just before half-time through Richard Anthony.

The hosts continued to create hances in the second half and sailed into a three-goal advantage courtesy of goals by Matt Ellis and Finn Ashton.

Icthus pulled one back through Henry Clothier's superb long-range strike, but Raiders saw out the game comfortably.
