Police are appealing for witnesses after two windows of a Bristol butchers shop were smashed.

The incident took place at 2am on October 14, 2011. A butchers shop in North View, Westbury Park had two large windows smashed. A police investigation is underway and police are following up lines of enquiry. The suspect is described as a white man aged around 20-30, medium build and wearing jogging bottoms, a grey hooded top and scarf around his neck

The incident is possibly linked to two other recent attacks on butchers shops in the city. Between 10am on September 8 and 6.45am the following day a brick was thrown through a glass door panel and into a glass cabinet at a butchers in Gloucester Road North. Between 7pm on September 6 and 6.30am on September 7, a display window was smashed at a butchers in Henleaze Road.

Anyone who witnessed any of the damage being caused or knows who is responsible should contact Avon and Somerset Police on the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, phone the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. They never ask your name or trace your call.
