Teenage cyclist suffers serious injuries following collision with refuge vehicle in Westbury Park, Bristol

A woman cyclist was taken to Frenchay Hospital suffering serious injuries following a traffic collision in Westbury Park, Bristol yesterday morning (November 6).

The incident occurred just after 8.30am close to St Christopher's School.

A police spokesman said: "A female teenage cyclist was in collision with a refuge collection vehicle. She suffered serious injuries and was taken to Frenchay Hospital."

Anyone who has any information on this incident is asked to contact the collision investigation unit on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
