Bristol Concert Orchestra: Mozart, Ibert & Shostakovich. Sat 3 March, St George's Bristol

Bristol Concert orchestra present an intriguing concert on Saturday 3 March at St George's Bristol at 7.30pm: they will perform Shostakovich's monumental Symphony No.10 and contrasting that, two 'Hommages à Mozart' - the charming wind quartet version of Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante, and Ibert's 200th birthday present from 1956, a short study in Mozartean vitality fused with mid-20th century Parisian harmonies.
