Summer sport activities for kids in Redland

Everyone from parents to the Government seems keen to tackle the problem of childhood obesity, which thankfully is not as apparent in Redland as other areas of the city.

It will come as no surprise then, that Bristol City Council has come up with a Sport Unlimited programme for the school holidays.

With numerous activities taking place at Kingsdown Sports Centre (among other venues in the city) children really spoilt for choice.

From abseiling to basketball and watersports to roller discos, I'm going to employ the age-old cliche that there is indeed something for everyone! Who said sport need be competitive and dull?
