Break in the snow for Redland

The first flurry of winter came earlier this week as Bristol (and Redland) endured a sprinkling of the white stuff but while the rest of the country battles on through the Wintery conditions our beautiful city received a reprise.

The weather forecast for Redland and Bristol for the next few days looks good - we can expect those brisk but crystal clear sunny winter days - my favourite type.

But have we been short changed? What about the fun the kids were hoping for in the snow. The sleding, the snowball fights and the snowmen building? It's like we've got the freezing cold conditions without the fun.

Then again, we've also got it without the treacherous road conditions. Let's face it, Redland is a mission to get around at the best of times, yet alone when it's icy!
