Police hunt Redland robbers

Police in Bristol have issued photos of two people they would like to speak in connection with a robbery in Redland.

The incident happened at about 5am on Saturday December 4 when two men were walking home. They were approached by two other men in Whiteladies Road, who asked them the time. The victim and his friend were then followed by the two suspects on to Cotham Hill, where one of the suspects threatened the victim. The second suspect also made threats. A mobile phone was taken from victim. He and his friend then ran off.

Police have issued CCTV coverage of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. Anyone recognising the men, or the men themselves are asked to contact the Bristol Visual Investigation Unit on 0845 4567000.     Yeah this type of crime happens all over the place but thankfully not very often around Redland. Does anyone know if they have been caught yet? the CCTV pictures are clear enough so they should be able to catch them and get them of the streets for a month or two if we are lucky.

    This is terrifying. You take for granted that this area is safe but every so often you hear about stuff like this and it makes you very unnerved indeed.
