Offices in the heart of Bristol that have undergone a major refurbishment are to be marketed nationwide in a bid to bring jobs to the city.

The Quorum will be officially launched on to the market on May 26 with agents who are seeking space for employers viewing the landmark building, which stands at the junction of Old Market and Bond Street.

Formerly known as Kings House the offices are being marketed through the Bristol offices of Colliers CRE and Savills after being extensively updated by Aviva Investors.

Stephen Lipfriend of Colliers CRE said: “The Quorum has been brought bang up to date through this refurbishment work and with suites from 2,953 sq ft up to 42,343 sq ft there is the flexibility to meet the needs of businesses.

“Bond Street is one of the Bristol locations that has seen an impact because of the reduction in jobs in the banking and financial services sector so it is good to bring a fresh approach to the market.”

Paul Williams of Savills said: “The Quorum has good established tenants in Hogg Robinson, Friends Provident and Omnix but the relocation of Bristol city council departments provided an opportunity to bring the offices up to date.

“The work has involved a striking new reception and entrance lobby with disabled access and the whole office now has a modern look and feel.

“With the M32 close by and Cabot Circus and the City Centre within walking distance it is an attractive proposition for those wanting to be in the heart of Bristol.”

Quoting rents at The Quorum are £10 per square foot.
