How many squash players does it take to change a lightbulb?

In the theme of that that well-worn joke, we put the question to the test. On Sunday morning, August 9, Redland squash players came together to erect scaffolding on the squash courts at BLTSC.
Jon Trevelyan, Mark Regan, Rich Tookey and Peter Sulzmann gave up their Sunday mornings to change the lights on the squash courts - no mean task when the lights are six meters high!
The work went well and the four men successfully managed to erect and dismantle the scaffolding six times as they methodically worked their way through the task in hand.
Peter took the light tubes out of the boxes, passing it to Mark half way up the scaffolding, who in turn passed it to the professional sparky, Jon, on the top platform. Rich took the old tubes out, swept up and kept the others supplied with beverages - all non-alcoholic you will be pleased to hear! And I, Sarah, took photos and spent the rest of my time trying to get them onto my laptop!
So, there you have it: it takes four squash players to change a lightbulb!

These are scurrilous accusations! Generally, only 2 of us were working at any one time, while 1 was trying to co-ordinate and the other had an eye on health and safety. As I recall, the scaffold was erected and dismantled more than 6 times due to poor project planning and re-work. Contrary to the article, all this was very thirsty work and poor old San Miguel took a beating for several hours after the last bulb was disposed off?
