No longer the Prom

Was surprised to see that the Prom has been replaced and now it's more of a coffee bar. A shame because it was one of the best night spots on Gloucester Rd.

The Prom - live music venue with a pub atmosphere

The prom may not look much from the outside, but it offers up some great live music during the week as well as providing a simple food menu at reasonable prices. The breakfasts are a particular highlight as they include hash browns! If you're looking for a place to grab a bite, somewhere to head to for your last pint of the night, or to catch some great local music, the Prom can cater to all.

    Music venue

A striking bar on Gloucester Road that’s one of the area’s premier music venues. In the sun manu will choose to sit outside and watch the world walk past.

    Good music venue in Bristol

Has an eclectic mix of music and acts on a regular basis. It’s also pleasant in the summer to sit outside and people watch too. I’m a big fan of their breakfasts, perhaps a little underrated in the area.

The Prom - cafe culture in Bristol

The Prom looks very similar to The Blue Lagoon in style and layout but it is often less busy. I don't really see why, it's got a decent outside area (out front) and hosts some decent live music and DJs. The vibe is chilled out and it''s open late at weekends. A thriving part of the Gloucester Road scene.
