I've only been to the Deco Lounge in the evening and as it's a cafe, I was a bit sceptical that it wouldn't really measure up to the surrounding bars. Surprisingly, it was better. The selection of drinks was fantastic and they were all fairly priced. The atmosphere is lovely, with it's dim lighting and seating arrangements. It meant that a good ten of us could sit comfortably and have a great evening!

Can only agree with the reviews above. I used to live literally just around the corner on Abbotsford Road and breakfasts there were a regular thing for me and the mrs. They've started doing a new burger there, too, which I sampled for the first time a few weeks ago. Better than GBK and the Burger Joint just down the road.
A great classy but chilled-out place to meet friends for lunch, it can get pretty busy at times but that's because it's so darn good! Delicious menu of paninis, salads and tapas, plus they do a great breakfast here too. It's also licensed, with Staropramen on tap!

A very chilled out pub with a good selection of drinks and yummy food. It has a bit of a coffee shop feel with newspapers about and board games available to play.

A really cool daytime cafe that do some gorgeous breakfast/brunches on the weekend as well as consistently good food the rest of the time. The coffee is good quality and they make a ruddy good cuppa. Come sundown they have some very nice bar staff rustling up lots of treats to keep you happy all night long.

ReportWith the sheer amount of pubs and bars around Redland and Cotham, it's no wonder cafes do well on a Sunday. And of all the places to rack up a hangover meal, the Deco Lounge has to be the best. I don't eat meat but their poached eggs are divine (apparently they have some ingredient in them which helps cure hangovers), the coffee is enough to wake even the most avid Koala and the chilled, laid back surroundings complement it all perfectly. They are also a regular bar at night - if only you didn't have to go home between drinking and brekkie!
